This has been my experiment over the past two years. I have come full circle, back to the foods that I ate ravenously as a kid, teen and young adult.
Fun in the kitchen, feeling great, back to what I love to eat, backed by science…what more could a girl want? I want the entire world to make the change and feel great! Eating well has SUCH a STRONG influence on our health and well-being.
But, I am a realist. I know it’s not going to happen that way just because I would like to see it happen that way. AlaskaFit will continue to offer support for anyone who wants to make a change. We also will continue to encourage you to eat your fruits and veggies. We won’t chastise you for choosing to remain an omnivore. This has been my story and each of us has our own unique story. My goal and the goal of my staff is to help you get to your goals. We say, “It’s not about getting into shape, it’s about getting into life!”® and we mean it. If giving up meat is not your idea of getting into life, nothing we say or do can “make” you make a change.
