Shockingly, I’m not 21 anymore and if you’re reading this, you probably aren’t either. And while “with age comes wisdom,” lots of other things come with age, too.

When did that happen? And, if it’s happening now, where will you be in 10 years? Heck, where will you be next year? Weight continuing to creep up? On medications? Will you be around at all in 10 years?
What if there was a way out?

How do I know this?
It’s what I do every day and have been doing for most of my adult life. Like you, I’m not 20-something anymore. Dare I say it? I’m approaching 50!
My definition of fit and healthy is different now than it was when I was 20. My love affair with fitness and nutrition started when I was about 12 years old. I loved listening to my mom as she sat in the kitchen chatting with her friends. Oh! To be an adult!
But here’s what I discovered. My mom had a weight problem. She hated what she looked like. She tried, along with her friends, again and again to lose weight and failed again and again. As we all got older, disease started creeping in. Blood pressure, aches and pains, diabetes. These became the topics of conversation. It wasn’t about just looking good anymore.
They didn’t just want to be around for kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, they wanted to be active with them…til they’re 80 or 90 or whenever!
But there were always big obstacles in the way. They were too busy to eat well. No interest in exercise. And the big question…How do you start a fitness program when you’re approaching or past 40-something? Click the button to find out how.
Answering these questions so I could help women became my mission. I delved deep into studies (I have an MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, plus a heap of other certifications in fitness and health). I’ve experimented and tried everything on myself from running a marathon to being vegetarian and weight-lifting.
