Exercise more. When you walk, run, or lift weights, you increase the energy required of your body, which raises your metabolism then, and for hours afterward.

Push-ups For Charity

We are excited to be participating in Push-ups for Charity.  This event will raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.  It’s quick and easy and there are 2 ways to participate:

  1. Be a participant: Complete as many push-ups as you can in 90 seconds, get sponsored…$0.50 – $1.00 per push-up.   That’s it…doesn’t matter if you do them on your knees or on your toes, doesn’t matter if you do 3, 30 or 300.  Just come out, bring friends and help raise money for our wounded heroes.
  2. Be a sponsor:  Not up to doing push-ups on your own?  You can sponsor someone who is doing push-ups or make a flat donation.

We are putting up a website…www.AnchoragePushupsforCharity.com.  We’ll e-mail you as soon as the site is up.  In the meantime, mark your calendar…our event is Saturday, April 10 at the Dome.
